YAPCO has no accounts, no cookies and no analytics. Your planners stay in your browser; they only leave it for a moment when you create a PDF.
What is stored, and where
Planners, their texts and quotes, and anything you type into them (such as your name or dates) are stored only in this browser, in its local database (IndexedDB). They are not sent to us and there is no copy on a server. The interface language you choose is remembered in the browser's local storage. So that the site also works without a connection, the browser keeps a copy of the site's own files (its pages and code, none of your planners) in its cache.
No tracking
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services.
Creating a PDF
When you press “Create PDF”, the planner (its layout, texts and any names or dates you filled in) is sent over an encrypted connection, through Cloudflare, to the site’s own server. There a temporary browser opens it, prints the pages and sends the PDF straight back. Neither the planner nor the PDF is stored, and the server keeps no log of requests. On your own computer, the local export service does the same without anything leaving the computer.
Hosting
The site runs on its owner’s own server and is delivered through Cloudflare. Like any website behind Cloudflare, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses, and carries the encrypted connection on its way, to deliver and protect the site, under its own privacy policy. To protect the server, Cloudflare may limit how many PDF requests come from one IP address.
Your notes belong on paper
The planner is meant to be printed blank and filled in by hand. Please do not type health or therapy notes into the designer: printed pages are the safest place for them.
Backups and deleting
Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes your planners for good. Use “Save planner as JSON” on the Export screen to keep a copy. Deleting a planner on the dashboard removes it from this browser.
